Lindsay C. T. Holt was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. She moved to Lake County, Florida in 1996 and is a graduate of Leesburg High School. She spent two years in the honors program at Florida State University where she obtained her Associate of Arts Degree in 2002. In 2004, after transferring to Flagler College, she received her Bachelor of Arts degrees in psychology and political science. As an undergraduate, she became a member of the Psy Chi International Honor Society. Lindsay Holt received her Juris Doctorate from Stetson University's College of Law in 2007. While at Stetson, she received the Victor O. Wehle Trial Advocacy Award, for excellence in trial advocacy. Before graduating law school, she interned in the Sixth Judicial Circuit Court of Pinellas County, Florida.
Lindsay Holt was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2007 and is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida (2008), the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Florida (2012) and all Florida courts. She is a member of the Lake County Bar Association (President 2012-2013; Treasurer 2011-2012). Lindsay Holt sits on the Board of Directors for the Lake-Sumter State College Foundation, Inc. (President 2017) and the Community Foundation of South Lake. In 2014, she was appointed to the Florida Bar's Fifth Circuit Grievance Committee and recently completed her tenure as outgoing chair of the committee in 2017. The primary focus of her practice is complex civil litigation and probate litigation. |
